This is just basically another rant of mine on my life.
So, I went this camp called ISOC 101, which is kind of like conference/daurah for all isocs in Ireland, organised by FOSIS Ireland.
Alhamdulillah, I felt super grateful for all the chances that Allah blessed me with.
I made friends from different countries and culture, but as one, Muslims.
As I always joined programme arranged by Malaysians and participate by Malaysians, which share the same Mazhab, Mazhab Shafie, I just figure out and notice a few stuffs ( It's actually a lot, super a lot.).
But in ISOC, I learnt to respect others' principle.
We came from different countries and principle that we hold in Islam.
Yes, we are Muslim but we have different interpretation on how we practice Islam in our daily life in term of a few stuffs.
I tell you, it honestly difference!
So from this camp, tho I prefer to called as conference as we only sit there and listen to all the presentation and talk, I point out them in points.
1. Intention
It is narrated on the authority of Amir al-Mu'minin (Leader of the Believers), Abu Hafs 'Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), say:
"Actions are according to intentions, and everyone will get what was intended. Whoever migrates with an intention for Allah and His messenger, the migration will be for the sake of Allah and his Messenger. And whoever migrates for worldly gain or to marry a woman, then his migration will be for the sake of whatever he migrated for."

As Isoc representing the Muslim in the college/university or even as Muslim living in the community itself, we should regularly check our intention and purpose on our action.
It is very important to justify our action so that we are not astray from the real and only intention :- attaining the pleasure of Al-Mighty for dunya and akhirah.
So in every action we done, or about to do, we should remind ourselves on our sincere intention which might be only Allah and ourselves.
2. Teamwork cooperation
This applies to each of organisation, regardless ISOC or so others Muslim association, teamwork cooperation is super important in working towards the same goals.
Imagine,
When you are about to start cooking. So everyone agree to bake a chocolate cake, and everyone need to find for specific ingredients.
So we start to delegate the tasks to everyone, as we are concerned that everyone have different ingredients, so we find out what's actually they have. So, each person have different ingredients and each of them are important in order to bake a cake.
Then, imagine if there are misunderstanding,
Some would like to have just a sweet cake.
Some prefer less sweet cake.
Some even want it to be a very sweet cake.
It's impossible to fulfil each of these request as we could only make A CAKE.
What if all of us want the exact same taste of cake? It will be much easier.
Same goes to teamwork.
Ingredients : Potential and role of each team members.
Cake : goals
Taste of the cake : Cooperation between the members through the same vision.
That's how I could express the importance of teamwork cooperation.
3. Tarbiyah
This is very essential to everyone. Regardless you are part of committee or members of that particular association.
WHY?
Cause the core of these is individual tarbiyah.
I wouldn't highlight of these as it seriously need a better explanation on it. InshaAllah one day. ( Sambil-sambil revise balik nota-nota usrah, daurah dahulu kala )
4. SMART aim
S-Specific aim
M-Measurable aim
A-Attainable aim
R-Realistic aim
T-Timing aim
Guys, this is a very superb tip shared by the presenter. MashaAllah it is super good and can be applied in every single goals even in individual goals.
5. Golden Circle
There are two golden circle I learned during this events:-
The ISOC's Role golden circle
People, they have this tendency to think of something out to inside.
For example, planning an events.
lets decide to make a high tea events for sisters. Then from it, we started to continuously plan on it. The goals, vision etc.
But honestly, as a Muslim, as a Believer of Allah swt,
we should put our intention/belief as the first.
So, we should inside towards outside.
WHY -> HOW -> WHAT
So lets say, we would like to increase our knowledge on aqeedah, which is an essential elements of Islam for the sake of Al-Might. [ WHY ]
So, we start to work on it, we suggest that we might need a teacher/sheikh/specialist of aqeedah to come and give us the lessons on it. [ HOW ]
Lastly, we make a proposal to the student services on planning to have a class for aqeedah that called as Halaqah Class. [WHAT]
then we are also applied the SMART Aim tip on this.
And
The Tarbiyah Golden Circle
I will just share a little of it, as I stated above, this need a further discussion (and revision lols!)
but basically it is just above
MYSELF -> Committee/Family -> Members/Community
That's all for today sharing.
I could stop myself to share it as I get excited over it lols.
But here will be a reminder for me specifically,
" Allah have chose His servants on specific task on this world, just to worshipping Him alone.
Having a position in any of association especially in association that evolve around dakwah and stuffs, is not something that we could proud of, its an AMANAH that Allah blessed on us, cause He believed we could make it and go through it and the most important, TO MAKE US A BETTER MUSLIM. "
Jazakallahu khair.
